Today we collected 127.6 pounds of kitchen scraps. We are getting closer and closer to meeting our goal! Now that it is Spring, we are hoping that within the next few weeks, we will start to see some finished compost! We are hoping that we will see some results soon. Thank you to all the households, we noticed that there was no rice in the compost this week, and significantly less stickers! We really appreciate this.
Just a reminder, make sure that you are not throwing ANYTHING that is compostable in the trash. Every little banana peel or apple core contributes to our weight and will ensure that we meet our goal! Thanks!
