Really fun pickup today!

Despite the dreary weather, today's pick up was a lot of fun,  It was fantastic hearing about the kids getting so involved in the process and lovely to be handed the kitchen scraps by smiling children!  Our total today was 115.6lbs which is excellent considering two of our households are away.  Altogether this has been a good week, especially as we have finally got all three piles to the temperatures we want.  It has taken 7 or so months but we believe we now have a process which is working very well.  For more information on our process visit our experiment page.  As soon as school is out we plan to host a short demonstration on how we turn your food scraps into compost.  All are welcome and we will be giving away some of the finished compost at that point.  Details to follow, stay tuned!
